*When should I contact A Friendly Face for pet sitting services?
Due to scheduling, please notify us at least three days before your trip, and at least two weeks before major Holidays. We also provide emergency visits for established clients.

* How will I be charged for services & when do I Pay?
When you contact A Friendly Face, a pet sitter will be glad to explain the different services and packages offered.  A complete job quote will be given to you either by phone, by e-mail or at the initial visit.  Payment is requested prior to dates of service may be made by credit card, by using Pay-Pal, or in person (check or cash).

*Can you provide references?
Yes, references will be provided on the initial visit, or upon request.

*Will my pets and I meet the pet sitter before service starts?
Absolutely! A Friendly Face wants both you and your pets to be comfortable with us before service begins.  A professional pet sitter will visit your home before you leave to:
-Meet you and your pets.
-Get detailed, written information about their care.
-Discuss any special needs you or your pets may have.
-Get the name and number where you can be reached in case of emergency.
-Review and sign a service contract (initial visit only).
-Pick up a key (if necessary).
-Answer any questions or concerns you may have about A Friendly Face Pet Services.

*What happens when I get back from my trip?
Call us when you return home.  This assures A Friendly Face that your pet or home will never be left unattended.  We will then  return your key (if requested) and ensure you are completely satisfied.

*Will people I don't know come to my home?
A Friendly Face
 will never bring anyone with us on our visits unless we have specifically requested your permission to do so.  We will ask you prior to our service beginning if anyone such as a repairman, friends, or family, are expected at your home.

*What if the pet sitter is not available during the time I will be away?
 Prior to your scheduling we will let you know should we will not be available.  WE DO NOT OVERBOOK.

*Will my pet sitter be on time?
We commit to being at your home within 30 minutes of the requested time for our visit.  Although we make every effort to always be on time, the nature of our business often requires us to perform duties that were not anticipated, i.e., a clean up, a visit to a vet, etc.

*Will everyone in my neighborhood know I have a pet sitter?
Although we use magnetic signs to advertise on our vehicles, during service visits,  the signs are removed and never in sight.  The last thing you need is an announcement to the world that your home is unoccupied.

*What if the pet sitter has a personal emergency while taking care of my pets?
Your pets and home will never be left unattended.

*What will happen to my house key if I leave it with the pet sitter?
When your key is in our possession, it will never be labeled with your name or address.  Keys and keypad codes will always be kept in a secure, locked location while in our possession.

*Will the pet sitter use my phone or smoke in my house?
We do not use or answer your phone.  If you need to contact your sitter at any time, please call our cell phone number.  A Friendly Face is a 100% smoke free service.

*What about my privacy?
Your privacy will always be highly respected.  While in your home, we will always remain in the areas that are required to care for your pets or your home, as specified by you.  Areas within your home that do not contain pet supplies or cleaning supplies are none of our concern and will always be treated accordingly.

*How will my home be left?
On daily visits, your home will always be as you left it, unless we are directed otherwise.  Should we ever visit your home and have reason to believe something that something is not as it should be, we will make every effort to contact you. However, if we are unable to reach you we will use our own judgement. For example, if your door was unlocked when we arrive, we would assume that it should have been locked and we will lock it upon leaving and make note of it.

*Will my pets be cleaned up after?
We will always clean up after your pets to the best of our ability.  We do what we do because we love animals.  We would never leave a mess behind after our visit.  Any and all messes will be cleaned up before we leave your home.

*Will my pets ever be mistreated?
ABSOLUTELY NOT! A Friendly Face never engages in physical corrections for negative behavior.  In other words, we don't hit animals.

*Are there any additional fees?
Additional fees will only apply for services or products provided not paid for in advance, such as an unforseen vet visit, or pet supplies/food. You will be contacted prior to any additional expenses incurred.  If approved, a receipt will be provided for any expenses incurred.
